Please note that I reserve the deepest, darkest marans hatching eggs for my own hatching and photos. As with all Marans, their egg color naturally fades over time. While you won’t receive the exact eggs pictured, I do my best to select the darkest eggs possible for you.

Keep in mind that Black Copper Marans “run out of ink” as their laying season progresses, but they still carry the dark-egg gene, which is passed on to their offspring. I carefully select only dark-laying hens and roosters for my breeding program. My hens produce a beautiful range of egg shades, typically between 6s and 9s, creating stunning egg baskets just like the ones shown in the photos!
